UK Cialdini Certification Class: Bright, Innovative, Successful

Last month in the UK, Dr. Gregory Neidert and I were able to train, appreciate, and approve for the next step in the certification process, an impressive group of five new Cialdini Method Certified Trainers most of whom will work with our UK partner, Steve Martin, to serve the increasing non-North American demand for our POP workshops. The first-hand experiences I had with these individuals makes me confident that our message of a scientifically-grounded approach to ethical influence will be communicated properly and effectively to new and eager audiences around the globe.

Recently, Drs. Cialdini and Neidert facilitated the summer 2011Cialdini Method Certified Trainer (CMCT) class for students from the UK, India and Budapest. This four day interactive program was exciting and demanding at the same time.

We were graciously hosted by Steve Martin, CMCT and director of the INFLUENCE AT WORK UK office. We’d like to publicly thank him for his generous contributions.

This class includes a day of Dr. Cialdini presenting the intricacies of the Principles of Persuasion (POP) Workshop content, in-depth substantiating research, the ethical approaches, possible misunderstandings, and clarifying methodologies. Dr. Neidert explores the core values model, how to use it, and protocol that is so important to the success of the POP. Each practice teaching session is followed by an open debrief by both Drs. Cialdini and Neidert.

The CMCT students were bright, innovative, well prepared and energetic. Every student passed both the practice teaching and the written exam.
