Brian Ahearn : CMCT®, is a dynamic keynote presenter, trainer, coach and consultant. His specialty is applying influence and persuasion in sales, leadership and business coaching. He is one of only 20 individuals in the world to currently hold the Cialdini Method Certified Trainer designation. This specialization in the psychology of persuasion was earned directly from Dr. Robert B. Cialdini – the recognized authority on the science of ethical persuasion. Brian was named one of the Top 100 Influencers of 2016 by The Science of Digital Marketing and his blog, Influence PEOPLE, is has readers in 200 countries.
Brian’s goal is to help you enjoy more professional success and personal happiness by applying the science of influence in all areas of life. A graduate of Miami University, Brian has been in the insurance industry for more than 30 years, having held positions in underwriting, sales and corporate training. In addition to these roles, Brian has also been a sales coach to regional vice presidents, sales managers and field sales reps. Brian is a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and a Competent Toastmaster (CTM). His writing has been featured in the online magazine, Sales Mastery, and Jeffrey Gitomer’s Sales Caffeine. He’s also been cited in the following books: Yes!: 50 Scientifically Proven Ways to Be Persuasive, The small Big: small changes that spark big influence, and Persuasion: A Practical Guide. In addition to his writing, Brian has also authored a LinkedIn sales course.
When Brian’s not influencing he enjoys physical activity. In his younger days he was a competitive powerlifter and bodybuilder. When he decided to put the weights down he took up running where he qualified for and ran the historic Boston Marathon twice. He took up martial arts to spend time with his daughter and is now a 2nd degree black belt in Taekwondo.
