David Thomson is on a personal mission to create a global paradigm shift in the way persuasion and influence are taught. He skillfully weaves personal, often humorous, stories into his workshops and presentations, which enthuse participants and motivate individuals to apply his new and influential methods in marketing, leadership, and sales. A Napoleon Hill certified instructor, qualified life coach, and self-made businessman with 27 years’ experience in sales, David pushes himself to excel at everything he does. This was drilled into him at 16 years of age when he joined the British Army where, in addition to becoming a soldier and boxing champion, he realized that expert training and self-discipline were his paths to success. Early in his career, David sold mortgages to home buyers, and soon became a financial advisor with Royal & Sun Alliance. Within two years, he had become the number-one selling financial adviser from their 650 offices in the United Kingdom and maintained that position throughout the 1990s. In the new millennium, David founded his own businesses, offering his expertise directly to the consumer market, and extending into property sales, insurance, mortgages, and eventually law. After consolidating all of these businesses into The Hannah Corporation, he developed Hannah Training–This is where David found his calling. From nothing, David created and nurtured The Hannah Corporation. He sold the company in a multi-million-pound transaction in order to pursue his passion for training the science of persuasion and influence. Today, he is one of only 19 trainers personally trained and endorsed by Dr. Robert Cialdini to teach his Principles of Persuasion (POP) Workshop. In his free time, David enjoys meditation, golf, snowboarding, and sharing himself with his wife and four children.

Biggest Influence:

David’s biggest influence came from William Clement Stone and his great book, The Success System That Never Fails. After reading Mr. Stone’s classic. David was inspired to change direction and go and work for the great man. It was at the AON Corporation that David discovered the foundations for transforming his life. These core fundamentals of Socratic questioning and a positive mental attitude have become the foundations for David’s success in his life.
