Prakash started his career in sales and worked for a multinational consumer durable company for ten years managing various sales functions and was head of the company’s direct sales divisions. He is currently responsible for development of senior leaders as the head of the leadership and organization development function within a multinational consulting, information technology and engineering company headquartered in Bangalore.
He has a doctorate degree in HRD from Texas A&M University and worked in various training and teaching roles including role of visiting faculty. His PhD research on learning transfer won him two prestigious awards in the U.S.
He is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) by Society for Human Resource Management and holds professional certificates in leadership and in business from Mays School of Business, Texas A&M University, and holds a certificate in training by the Association for Talent Development (ATD).
Dr. Nair has articles published in both scholarly and practitioner journals and has presented papers at various international forums. He currently serves as a reviewer for the Human Resource Development Quarterly, an Academy of Human Resource Development (AHRD) publication.
